CALL to Our Community: NEW SOCIETY /Forening to Organise Copenhagen St. Patrick’s Day Parade

Copenhagen St. Patrick’s Day Festival and Parade
– a community of Irish culture, people, and heritage

Are you interested in getting involved? Want to be part of the organising team for this fabulous celebration of Irish culture, heritage, people and community?

The Copenhagen St. Patrick’s Day Festival and Parade is in its 20th year as a private initiative, and is bigger and more popular than ever. Now the organisers, O’Hare Productions, are inviting you to take the reins! A new volunteer society (Frivillig Forening) – the Copenhagen St. Patrick’s Day Society – will be formed to organise future St. Patrick’s Day Festivals and Parades.

With the support of the Irish Embassy in Denmark, the first meeting to discuss the new society and to shape an organisation team for future Copenhagen St. Patrick’s Day Festivals will take place at the Embassy in mid-September. If you would like to take part, please send us an email with some information about yourself, including if you have a particular field of interest or experience. Our organisation chart shows the key areas of responsibility involved in organising the SPD Festival and Parade.

[Please note that there is no pressure for the new society to completely take over the organisation of the 2025 Copenhagen SPD Festival and Parade. A transition will be agreed with O’Hare Productions once the new society has been formed].
